Proposed Keep Powell Moving Plan to go before City Council

The proposed Keep Powell Moving Downtown Powell Street System & Circulation Plan is slated to go before Powell City Council during their Tuesday, Nov. 1 meeting. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 47 Hall Street.

City Council approves Armita Plaza

Armita Plaza, a proposed commercial development in the Historic Downtown Powell District, was unanimously approved by Powell City Council during the July 5 meeting. The final development plan calls for 21,647 square feet of commercial space at the intersection of W. Olentangy Street and Lincoln Street.

Lorenz, Bennehoof named new Mayor, Vice Mayor of Powell

Members of Powell City Council selected Brian Lorenz to serve as the new mayor of Powell City Council and Jon Bennehoof as the vice mayor, both serving two-year terms. Additionally, three members of Powell City Council took their oath of office during the first meeting of the year.
