Department: Service Department
This position works under the direction of the City Manager and is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of the Public Service Department. This position is responsible for maintaining approximately 6 square miles of City roads; several miles of pedestrian and bike paths; 9 parks with athletic fields, nature preserves, playgrounds and a splash pad; and two municipal buildings. Our residents and businesses support high quality public improvements, and the Director is responsible for ensuring City roads, parks, cemeteries, and other public facilities meet the community’s standards.
Job Description – Director of Public Service
Full-Time – $20.25 Hourly
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm with occasional weekend hours and availability to work special events.
Department: Service Department
This position is an union position that requires semi-skilled to skilled maintenance, repair and construction work in a variety of areas including parks maintenance, public works, facilities, and equipment.

Board of Zoning Appeals – Meets the first Thursday of the month on an as-needed basis

Development Committee – Meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Finance Committee – Meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.
Operations Committee – Meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
