January is Personal Self- Defense Awareness Month
The Powell Police Department is launching radKIDS, a new program that will provide education to children and their guardians to enhance their ability to use knowledge, skills and power to protect themselves from unsafe situations.
Each year, the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) runs a national campaign called Tie One on For Safety during the holiday season in an effort to promote awareness and encourage responsible driving. The Powell Police Department is committed to helping MADD promote this message and encourages you to participate as well.
The United States Marshall’s Office arrested Anthony L. Sanders from Oak Park, Mich. as part of a joint investigation with the Powell Police Department and the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
