Traditions Way will be closed starting Tuesday, Sept. 5 for 1-2 weeks for re-construction of the roadway by developers. Lincoln Street will serve as the detour during the closure.

Starting Thursday, Aug. 24, weather permitting, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will begin a project to resurface SR 315 from Clubview Blvd. in Franklin County to Jewett Road in Delaware County and from SR 750 to US 23. The paving work will occur between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. One lane of SR 315 will remain open at all times. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.

The Ohio Department of Transportation – District 6 plans to reopen SR 315 south of SR 750 at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1.
Fireworks can really brighten up a celebration but they also can be dangerous if used incorrectly.
City Council unanimously approved an ordinance to temporarily prohibit left turns from Liberty Street to Olentangy Street from 4-7 p.m. Monday-Friday. Officers from the Powell Police Department will also temporarily direct traffic during peak hours at Bennett Parkway and Liberty Street, Bennett Parkway and Powell Road and Olentangy Street and Liberty Street. Local detour signage will be posted at Murphy Parkway and Bennett Parkway to help motorists detour to Powell Road.
The annual Powell Festival presented by Mount Carmel is from 5-11 p.m. Friday, June 23 and noon-11 p.m. Saturday, June 24 in Village Green Park, 47 Hall Street.
