Construction on the Olentangy and Liberty Street intersection will begin next Sunday, April 14. The intersection will be closed overnight from 10 p.m.-6 a.m. Overnight road closures will take place for up to four weeks, weather permitting.
All residents of the City are required to complete yearly Municipal Income Tax Returns – no matter the resident’s age or amount of wages/income. The City of Powell and the Powell Community Improvement Corporation are hosting a public forum to present the findings from a housing and commercial needs analysis from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 47 Hall Street.
Powell City Council approved the annexation, final development plan and zoning map amendment for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center during last night’s meeting. The plan proposes to construct a medical office building, ambulatory care center and hospital on 44 acres at the northeast corner of Sawmill Parkway and Home Road.
