The entire stretch of Bennett Parkway is scheduled to be paved over the next two weeks as part of the city’s annual Street Maintenance and Repair Program. Work will begin Thursday, Sept. 2 or Friday, Sept. 3, weather permitting. Traffic will be maintained as one lane two-way traffic.
Additionally, the main drive and parking lot at Library Park is slated to be re-paved beginning Friday, Sept. 10 through Monday, Sept. 20. The parking lot will be closed off and on over the course of 10 days. The Delaware County District Library – Powell Branch will remain open during regular business hours and the park will be open from dawn to dusk with no interruption to programs.
