Police Department introduces Exchange Point

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(POWELL, Ohio)–February 26, 2016–The public will now have a place to exchange items in the Powell Police Department Parking Lot, located at 47 Hall Street.

The Public Exchange Point is under video surveillance, and the public can use the spots for up to 30 minutes.

“With the rise of buy, sell and trade sites, we wanted to provide the public with a safe place to exchange items,” said Chief Gary Vest. “The dedicated parking spots are centrally located in Powell and under video surveillance at all times. We also felt the Public Exchange Point would be a place for the community to do custody exchanges.”

The two reserved parking spaces are located on the west side of the Municipal Building Parking Lot, facing Olentangy Street.
