MORPC scheduled to present insight2050 findings

Central Ohio is expected to grow by more than 500,000 people by the year 2050, bringing 300,000 new jobs and households to the region.

Insight2050 examines these changes and their influence on residential and commercial development preferences, giving Central Ohio communities important information to hold conversations and increase collaboration between public and private stakeholders.

Representatives from the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) will discuss the findings and tools of insight2050 with the Planning & Zoning Commission at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27 and play the Complete Streets Game to consider some on-the-ground design ideas that can make communities more enjoyable and safe places to live, work and play.
