The Board of Zoning Appeals hears requests for appeals to a zoning violation. They also have the authority to grant or deny zoning variances. The three member board is appointed by Council and meets on an as needed basis.

Please consult the Development Department before submitting any applications. This ensures that the department is aware of the application and that all application requirements have been met.
Applications and all supporting materials are due to the Development Department at least 15 days prior to meetings.
Once the completed application form is received, it is reviewed by Development Department staff and the resulting analysis is provided to the BZA for their consideration before making a decision. The application only comes before the BZA once and the decision by the BZA is final.
