The City of Powell Parks & Recreation Department has invited local elementary schools to paint City of Powell snow plow blades with original Columbus Blue Jackets inspired artwork.
The snow plow blades will be on display at this year’s Candy by the Carload event from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29. Guests at the event will select their favorite painted snow plow blades based on a canned food donation that will benefit People In Need, Inc. The Columbus Blue Jackets will be providing prize packs for the winning blades. Winners will be announced on Monday, Oct. 30.
