Council declares April as “Autism Awareness Month”

Powell City Council presented a proclamation during Tuesday night’s meeting, declaring April as “Autism Awareness Month.”

Autism now affects 1 in 68 children. The rate of autism has steadily grown over the last 20 years and is the fastest growing developmental disorder.

City enters into agreement with Delaware County for repaving a portion of Liberty Road

City Council approved a resolution to enter into an agreement with Delaware County to repave Liberty Road from Seldom Seen Road to the Liberty Township Hall. The City will contribute $65,195 to the repaving project.
