The 13th class of the Powell Citizens Police Academy begins Wednesday, August 31, and is now open for registration.
This free, 11-week class is held every Wednesday from 7-9pm at the Powell Police Department (47 Hall St.) and covers a variety of topics including traffic stops, crime prevention, CPR certification, OVI enforcement, crime scene investigation, and more. An optional ride-along is also offered to each participant.
