The Powell Police Department and Liberty Township / Powell Fire Department are hosting the annual Community Bonfire from 6-8 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 3 in Village Green Park, 47 Hall Street.
This is a free event. Please consider registering in advance here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/powell-community-bonfire-tickets-122587894693
Due to COVID-19, this year’s event experience will be slightly different. Guests will enjoy entertainment from Big Daddy Blue on the amphitheater stage and the roaring bonfire. Phillips On Wheels food truck will be on site to serve coneys/hotdogs, sliders/burgers, sides and shakes.
The city’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) will also be in effect during the Community Bonfire this year. Visit the city’s local restaurants for dinner or for carryout to bring to the park and check out many of our boutiques and retail shops.
The city of Powell has worked with the Delaware County Public Health Department to develop guidelines for guests, vendors, volunteers and staff.
