Crews begin work at North Liberty Street & Seldom Seen Road Intersection

The widening and installation of the traffic signal at the Seldom Seen Road and North Liberty Street intersection is scheduled to begin this coming week. Utility work has already started at the intersection.

This project is being done in collaboration with the Delaware County Engineer’s Office.

Project Highlights:

  • The intersection is being widened with turn lanes and a traffic signal added.
  • Traffic will be maintained through a mix of one-lane, two-way traffic utilizing flaggers and two-lane, two-way traffic with shifted lanes.
  • The project is expected to be finished by mid-July, weather permitting.
  • This project was awarded approximately $500,000 in grant funding from the Ohio Public Works Commission.
  • The remaining cost of the intersection was shared 50/50 with Delaware County.
