The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) awarded again the GFOA’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award to the City of Powell for the 2017 budget.
In order to receive the budget award, the City had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for an effective budget presentation. These guidelines are designed to assess how well an entity’s budget serves as a policy document, financial plan, communications device and an operations guide.
