The city of Powell is hosting the first-ever Powell Citizens Academy.
Powell Citizens Academy will be held virtually from 7:30-9 p.m. every Thursday beginning Feb. 11 through April 1. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about various functions of their local government, including how the City Manager form of government operates, city finances, public safety services, quality of life programs and more. The program will conclude with a graduation celebration.
