Annexation approved by City Council
An ordinance accepting the annexation of approximately one acre from Liberty Township to the City was unanimously approved by Powell City Council. The site is home to the new Verizon Wireless store on Sawmill Parkway.
Beatz Dance Studio development plan approved
City Council unanimously approved a combined preliminary and final development plan by Beatz Studio. The plan calls for the construction of a dance and fitness studio on 1.18 acres at 80 Clairedan Drive.
The next Powell City Council meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8 (note: date change due to Election Day) in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 47 Hall Street.
