Powell City Council approved the annexation, final development plan and zoning map amendment for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center during last night’s meeting. The plan proposes to construct a medical office building, ambulatory care center and hospital on 44 acres at the northeast corner of Sawmill Parkway and Home Road. Powell City Council unanimously approved a pre-annexation agreement during last night’s meeting for a proposed healthcare facility. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is proposing the development of a healthcare facility to be located at the northeast corner of Sawmill Parkway and Home Road. The Medical Center seeks to pursue an annexation of the property and proposed facility into the City of Powell.
The City collaborated with Columbus-based Saperstein Associates, Inc. to conduct a biennial Community Attitude Survey this past winter. Visit the post for a report of findings from this year’s survey.
