Autumn is here, which means we’re in full swing of election season. With that comes the increase in political signs in and around the city. Campaign signs are permitted in all districts within the city of Powell.
Here’s a few helpful reminders:
-Only one sign per statement is permissible per lot per frontage.
-No sign shall be placed or deposited within any public right-of-way or on any tree, pole, post, meter or similar object located within the public right-of-way.
-Signs interfering with visibility will be removed.
-Illegal signs may be pulled and fees may be assessed for placement of illegal signs after the first offense.
