About the Greater Powell Veterans Memorial

DCIM112GOPRO

The Greater Powell Veterans Memorial Foundation was formed after a local soldier was killed in action in Iraq and members of the Powell community wanted a way to remember him and all veterans as well as express gratitude for their sacrifice.

The Memorial, located in Village Green Park, was built to honor all veterans past, present and future and is a place of reflection and remembrance. Bricks that are purchased for loved ones are dedicated on Memorial Day in May and Veterans Day in November.

Purchase an engraved brick in the Greater Powell Veterans Memorial for the upcoming Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony. The deadline to order is Wed., March 27.
